Bristlecone was originally subtitled 'a nightmare of self destruction' but it was deemed too long. However, that still works as a description of the film.

The lead character is falling apart and nothing seems to help them get back together.

With body horror and a defeatist mood Bristlecone is not sure to delight viewers of all ages.
