Today is the release of Ampersand and Sand the debut album that I recorded while pretending to be a band called Concentric Circus.

I suppose the music could be described as indie rock or alternative rock but I don't really know what to call it. It's just Ampersand and Sand by Concentric Circus.

The nine songs contained within contain styles that are vaguely-folkish, klezmer-inspired, modularly-constructed, distorted-noise and torch-song-esque balladry.

All recorded at home with some help with some help from How Am I Looking?'s David Charleston and The Curiously Strong Peppermint's Jesse Miller who each play on one song.

Oh, and of course, A PLUG! Let it be known that CD copies of Ampersand and Sand are available on the Concentric Circus Bandcamp Page! Just $10 AUD!

Here is the video for the title track of the album, Ampersand and Sand:

Thanks for reading this, don't forget you can listen to Ampersand and Sand on Spotify and Apple Music or listen/download/buy a physical copy on Bandcamp.
