Bristlecone? What's that? Could it be an experimental short film that I made a while ago and lost in the multiple computer breaks of earlier this year? I don't know, it might be.

It's been very difficult to find time to work on a lot of these projects, there's always so much going on. Adding to that I've had two computers die this year and have lost much of my hard-worked-upon data. I think we're over that hurdle now so on to nicer things.

I have posted a collection of shots of some of the different backgrounds that will make up the film. You can check these out here:

Reynaud will be set in France and is about the life and work of Charles-Émile Reynaud (who you can read more about in this post). The shots are mainly of between the late 1800s and early 1900s Paris and I wanted to capture some of the art nouveau colours and style that you see from posters of that era. Eschewing actual documentary style looks.

Hopefully you like it.

A short film I made for the China Southern Airline's competition: 'My Dream Destination'. A competition that encouraged entrants to make a one minute long video about the city that is their 'Dream Destination'.

Lately, I've really been liking the idea of going over to Europe (particularly Germany) and when this competition popped up it seemed like a great opportunity to give it a go.

I don't think I won anything, at least no one told me I did, but I think you'll enjoy it.

I wrote and played the little jazzy score too.
